Zebra Technologies Corporation is showcasing its new Aurora Velocity™ scan tunnel at ProMat 2025. The scan tunnel ensures efficient, error-free package sorting and routing to drive automated warehouse operations.

Available now in North America, Velocity uses centralized processing to deliver exceptional barcode reading performance at high speeds, while its scalable architecture makes it easy and cost effective to combine multiple machine vision capabilities in a single scan tunnel, the company said in a press release announcing the launch. Those capabilities include dimensioning, AI-powered HAZMAT/Dangerous Goods label detection, optical character recognition (OCR), and package damage inspection. In addition, Velocity can seamlessly integrate additional functionality such as RFID, weighing, and print and apply.
